  • Foster mutual cultural exchange

  • Cultivate deep connections in community

Process to join a service-learning trip

  1. Put your name on a Trip Interest List  

  2. Fill out a Service-Learning Trip Application 

  3. Apply for a Passport  & Visa (if needed, submit copies to OCC) 

  4. Submit a Medical Consent 

  5. Sign a Release of Liability & Policy Agreement 

  6. Consult the Service-Learning Experience Guide for preparation details  as well as the Trip Checklist

  7. Build your Financial Team

    Sample Letter

  8. Build your Prayer Team (5-7 people) 

  9. Attend all Training Meetings 

  10. Check the CDC Website  for a list of recommended immunizations 

  11. Pack  for your trip! 

  12. Sign and notarize a Parental Consent for a Minor to Travel (if needed)
